North Airport Road · Nairobi · Made in Kenya
Milele Agri-Tech grows and presses avocado oil, then turns it into Avocare hair and skin oils, body care, and a household cleaning range. Pressed, blended, filled and labelled here.
Two ranges, one oil
Both lines are made in the same Nairobi plant from the same Kenyan avocado. Which shelf you need depends on what you're buying it for.

Why avocado oil
Most of what sits on a supermarket shelf is built on mineral oil, which seals moisture in by forming a film on top of the skin. Avocado oil goes in instead.
High in oleic acid, which is close to what skin produces itself. That's the whole reason it sinks in rather than leaving a film.
Pressed under 40°C, with no bleaching and no deodorising step. Nothing is stripped out to make it look uniform on a shelf.
Tocopherols survive a cold press but not a hot one. Running the line cooler costs us yield and keeps them in the bottle.
Printed on the jar, not buried on a website. The personal care range is made with 100% natural avocado oils.
Fragrance is either absent or deliberate. Nothing in the range is built to smell like something it isn't.
Kenyan fruit, pressed and bottled in Nairobi. The value stays in the country instead of leaving as raw fruit.
How it's made
Fruit is cut rather than dropped, and tested at the collection centre before it goes anywhere near the press.
Sorted by hand and de-stoned within twelve hours of picking. Skins and stones go back out as orchard compost.
Warm enough to release the oil, cool enough to keep the colour, the vitamin E and the character of the fruit.
Straight into bottles as pure oil, or blended with mint, eucalyptus and other actives into creams, butters and washes.
Filled and sealed in Nairobi. Every label carries a QR code so a customer holding the jar can check it is really ours.
Where it grows
We buy fruit at a price published before the season starts and pay within seven days of delivery. Pick a county to see this season's numbers.
What people tell us
What's on every label
Printed on the jar, not just on the website. If a product in front of you is missing any of them, it is not one of ours.
Buying for a business
Anyone getting through more than about four litres a month is better off on a 5 L or 20 L pack and refilling. The per-litre cost drops sharply and so does the packaging.
Jerrycans with moulded handles, sized for refilling pump bottles around a building.
Agree a delivery schedule once instead of reordering every time you run out.
Delivered directly inside Nairobi, or collected from North Airport Road. Countrywide by courier.
Wholesale terms on the full retail range for pharmacies, supermarkets and salons.
Journal
Most lotion on a supermarket shelf is built on mineral oil, which sits on the surface. Avocado oil behaves differently, and you can feel it within a week.
